The first meeting between the Norwegian Ambassador to Indonesia and the new Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources included talks on the ongoing bilateral energy dialogue between Norway and Indonesia, future cooperation in the oil and energy sector and investment opportunities for Norwegian companies in Indonesia. Present at the meeting from the Norwegian side was also Statoil`s Director in Indonesia, Tor Fjæran, who has an exclusive cooperation with the Indonesian Pertamina Company. They also discussed increased cooperation concerning energy and carbon capture and storage.
The meeting took place in the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Resources on the 17 of February.
