ASEAN Fun Bike was the first of series of events to usher in ASEAN’s 44th Anniversary 8 August 2011. Referring to the importance of an ASEAN that is anchored in its people, Indonesian Foreign Minister said that events like this are important in building the bond towards the ASEAN Community by 2015. “ You can’t legislate a sense of Community. It has to come from the people”, he said.
